Located in Mykonos, the house offers a calm domestic landscape defined by arched openings, natural materials, and a restrained yet expressive architectural language.
\nDesigned by K-S Project, under the direction of Konstantina Sygkyridi, the project reimagines local typologies through soft geometries and tactile surfaces. Our studio contributed to the visual representation and refinement of interior elements, highlighting the project’s material clarity and sense of atmosphere.
\nThe layout includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Arches are used as both structural and poetic devices, gently dividing functions while maintaining an open, flowing spatial continuity. Vaulted alcoves, soft corners, and integrated shelving create a layered sense of depth and comfort throughout the interior.
\nMaterials remain close to the earth: lime plaster, warm wood, matte ceramics, and stone finishes form a palette that is cohesive, elemental, and honest. Ceiling beams and custom built-in furniture lend a crafted sensibility, with each surface thoughtfully resolved to create a subtle visual rhythm.
\nLighting is intentionally gentle\u2014whether through woven pendants or recessed spotlights\u2014creating intimacy without intrusion.
