Interior Design

The Tobacco Hall is a boutique hospitality project located in Kavala, occupying a former tobacco warehouse that spans 400 m². Designed entirely by our studio, this transformation bridges architectural memory with modern simplicity—preserving the character of the original structure while introducing a tranquil spatial rhythm.
This project transforms a former tobacco warehouse into a boutique guesthouse with 10 unique rooms across two levels. As one of the few—if not the only—examples in the city of adaptive reuse of a historical warehouse, it highlights the value of preserving and reactivating architectural heritage.
Exposed stone walls and timber elements define the design language, creating a warm, earthy atmosphere. Many rooms feature mezzanines for sleeping, while select duplex units introduce vertical richness and spatial variety.
Natural materials, subdued tones, and custom-made wooden details reflect a quiet dialogue between past and present. The intervention respects the original structure while offering a contemporary, serene experience rooted in memory and material authenticity.
Every detail—from the slender steel railings to the minimalist light fittings—is chosen to complement the structure’s honest material palette. The mezzanine spaces maintain an open visual connection with the double-height stone walls, while the ground-floor common areas invite guests to linger, framed by custom joinery and filtered natural light.
