Pedeli Residence
This project was carried out in collaboration with the architectural studio K-S Project, under the project management of Konstantina Sygkyridi. Our studio was involved in both the architectural design process and the development of high-quality photorealistic visualizations, contributing to the project's overall creative vision.
Nestled on a hillside in Pedeli, Athens, this three-level residence blends classical symbolism with contemporary design. Inspired by the ancient architectural order of base, trunk, and capital, the house reinterprets these elements through a minimal and bold approach, drawing from both brutalism and modern Greek aesthetics.
The ground level (base) grounds the structure with strong, clean lines. The first floor (trunk) is defined by expansive glass facades, bringing natural light deep into the interior and offering uninterrupted views of the landscape. The top level (capital) projects outward with a commanding yet minimal form, completing the architectural composition.
The outdoor areas are designed for both relaxation and social interaction. A swimming pool becomes the focal point of the ground floor exterior, flanked by a lounge zone and a barbecue area—ideal for gatherings. Mediterranean landscaping, featuring olive trees and Stipa grasses, ties the architecture to its natural context, reinforcing the connection between building and environment.

Inside, the design merges the colorful, playful essence of Pop Art with the raw minimalism of industrial architecture. Sculptural furniture, neon lighting, and pop culture-inspired murals create a bold, imaginative interior. In contrast, exposed materials—concrete, steel, and polished plaster—offer balance and clarity.
The living room exemplifies this duality: a fluid open space where functional objects become art. The iconic Voido Rocking Armchair and sculptural fireplace take center stage, blurring the lines between utility and aesthetic expression. Bright yellow accents and curated artwork reinforce the home’s vibrant yet refined character.
This residence redefines contemporary living through a fusion of expression, functionality, and a strong architectural narrative that bridges the past with the present.
